new and renewed,
changed by fire
I am ready to begin again...
Happy is the word,
encouraged to strive for more,
leaving yesteryear behind.

Nothing to remind us of our regret,
say it aloud so it is real,
only today is what we live for.
I stand,
unafraid,
wishing you all of the best,
forging ahead
as I dream of better days to come.
